For Dexter, everyday is a great day for science! Dexter is a boy genius who passionately cooks up adventures far from the watchful eye of his parents. His brilliance is interrupted only by a bubbling ballerina, otherwise known as older sister Dee Dee. Day after day, Dexter slips away to his fully-equipped bedroom laboratory to solve problems ranging from saving the world to thwarting schoolyard bullies.

When Dexter tires of spilling stuff on himself, he invents a washing machine satellite to zap out any spots. But when the satellite is nudged in space to a higher setting, the spots aren't the only things that get removed. Now Dexter must get home from school without baring all his assets.

But the scientist succeeds in boring the entire class and ridiculing Dexter. To Dexter's surprise, his real father shows up on a motorcycle and performs an awesome daredevil jump!

Three of Dexter's robots escape from the lab and run amok in the city. They experience many adventures leading them into a peck of trouble before Dexter comes to save them in the Dexo Robo 2000.

Uncle Magic comes to visit the family and promises a trick to make Dee Dee disappear. Dexter pooh-poohs his Uncle's world of illusion and makes Dee Dee disappear via science. But when Dexter can't bring her back, he must call upon Uncle Magic and his skills to make Dee Dee reappear.

Dexter's attempts to paint his lab blue are complicated by Dee Dee's desire to paint it pink.
Opposites Attract
Dexter positively charges both Dee Dee and himself so that she will have to stay away from him. The trouble is, when Dee Dee figures out Dexter's trick, she has fun pushing her little brother around.

When Dad won't let Dexter stay up for a late-night scary movie, Dexter disobeys and watches anyway. Upon discovering this, Dad hatches a plan to scare Dexter. Unfortunately, the trick backfires as both Dexter and his Dad end up being scared by all the spooky sounds in the house.
