Princess Nikky Onyeri
This week on African Voices…Nigerian breast cancer advocate Princess Nikky Onyeri.
Based in Abuja, Onyeri has pushed the Nigerian government to do more to help women with cancer. Misdiagnosed with breast cancer 15 years ago, she has made it her personal mission to raise awareness and provide education about cancer to Africans. With her persistent lobbying, Onyeri says Nigeria is better equipped to deal with cancers affecting women, but concedes more needs to be done.
