Motorcycle Diary
Nelson Mandela, the father of South Africa, celebrated his 92nd birthday last month. Morgan Freeman, the man who played Mandela on the big screen, was there, and we were alongside the Academy Award winning actor as he honored Mandela with a motorcycle tour through South Africa.
Empowering Africa’s Next Generation
Nearly a third of the continent is celebrating 50 years of independence from colonial rule. We hear from U.S. President Barack Obama as he chats with young African leaders about their vision and ideas for Africa during their special week in Washington D.C.
Celebrating Customs
The largest population of Nigerians in the U.S. is in Houston, Texas. And while many of them try to travel home for their traditional weddings, some of them stay in the states. In fact, there are about 70 to 100 traditional ceremonies in the U.S. every year. We have a look at a traditional engagement ceremony, which usually precedes the wedding ceremony by one or two days.
