This week’s Marketplace Africa begins with a look at women in business. Being a female business leader in Africa has historically been difficult, to say the least. The challenges were addressed at the first African Women Economic Summit held recently in Nairobi. So we have some good news on that front, with an In Focus look at women working to turn things around in Rwanda. And one of the challenges women in business in Africa face is trying to secure loans. So in our Face Time, we meet Equity Bank CEO James Mwangi, who is working to change how banking is done in Africa.
