This week on Marketplace Africa - we're taking a look at African media. We meet two men working to change how Africa is viewed in the West. Both men founded companies in the United States that cover news in Africa.

We begin in a city that holds the largest Nigerian population in the U.S. - Houston, Texas. Our In Focus segment introduces us to Chido Nwangwu - founder of USAfrica- a multimedia company doing a lot with very little.

The subject of Face Time is Senegalese Amadou Mahtar Ba. Ba co-founded AllAfrica global media group, which includes an African news website allAfrica.com. He recently served as a judge for the African Business awards in London and spoke to Ayesha Durgahee about what he sees as Africa's challenges.
