One of the key lessons learned from the financial crisis was the growth and resilience of Islamic finance. This sector has, for the most part, been shielded from the effects of the global downturn and is currently worth $700 billion dollars. This week MME sits down with the president of the Islamic Development Bank, Ahmad Ali Al-Madani, to discuss growing co-operation in Shariah compliant products and trade amongst Islamic countries.

Jordan is one of the driest nations on earth, and as the country's water supply continues to diminish, securing this precious resource is becoming a top priority.  Now the government is embarking on a new multi-billion dollar plan, known as the "Jordan Red Sea Project."
