Eye on Mongolia

An ancient land, where the spirit of the great conqueror - Genghis Khan - still looms large, the only place on earth with more horses than people, a country of contradictions, seen in the nomads who cherish life in the rugged mountains and the new businessmen building luxury high-rises in the heart of the capital – that’s Mongolia. And we’ve got our Eye On it. With its vast reserves of highly sought-after natural resources, this stunning, sparsely populated nation aims to improve life for its 2.8 million citizens. CNN's Anna Coren hosts from the capital, Ulan Bator, and Stan Grant reports from around the country on a range of developments, including the copper mining boom. He also pays a visit to Mongolia's president and looks into the ancient tradition of throat-singing - all that and more, as we bring you up close to Mongolia in a very special half-hour.

Eye on India

In an in-depth half-hour, CNN takes a look at the world's second most populous country, India.  With rapid economic growth and the rise of a class of super-rich, Eye on India looks at the industries booming in a country that is fast-becoming a global business center, attracting major foreign companies and investors. CNN's Andrew Stevens anchors from Mumbai, a bustling city of 14 million people. Correspondents Sara Sidner and Mallika Kapur look at high-end real estate going up in India and the growing car manufacturing industry that's giving India a moniker as "the new Detroit", creating jobs for the middle class. We go to Delhi, where a budget airline is making history by signing the biggest aircraft deal ever. By contrast, in Aurangabad, in central India, 150 businessmen got together and each bought a Mercedes, spending $15 million in just one day.

Finally, we look at arguably two of the country's biggest loves: cricket and Bollywood.  What's the outlook for sports in India? And who are the voices really singing in those blockbuster Bollywood movies? Meet the real faces behind some of the voices.
