Jane Bussmann and Oliver Schmitz

A comedy writer and film director. Jane Bussmann is a British comedy writer who chronicled her adventures in Uganda in the novel The Worst Date Ever. In this program, she talks to Max Foster about her time in Uganda and the news stories that matter to her. Oliver Schmitz is a South African film director. His film "Life, Above All" looks at the issues of HIV and AIDS in South Africa. He tells Max about what stories he thinks should be in the news.
