John Kufuor and Carla Mardini

This month on Edit Room, a former African president and the public face of one of the world's biggest humanitarian organizations.  John Kufuor was president of Ghana for eight peaceful and prosperous years. In this program, he talks about his relationship with the press and the meetings he held with fellow African leaders in an attempt to find peaceful solutions to the problems in Kenya and Liberia.

Carla Mardini is the spokeswoman for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). In this program she talks about herself rather than the organization she represents. She reflects on whether her childhood in Lebanon has impacted on the way she thinks now.
