This month, CNN's 'My City, My Life' is hosted by the Czech supermodel turned philanthropist, Petra Nemcova, who takes us on a journey through 'the city of a hundred spires' - Prague.

Described as one of Europe's 'hidden treasures', Prague is colorful, elegant and full of unusual quirks. With Petra, we ride the trains and trams and walk the historic streets, taking in many sights - from a famous Marionette Theatre to one of the city's spectacular concert halls. We experience traditional restaurants, and learn the stories behind some of the city's famous monuments.

Petra's life is not all glamour and prestige. She speaks eloquently about growing up under the iron fist of Communism and how much the relatively new-found freedom means to her and fellow Czechs. The beauty is also a survivor of the 2004 Tsunami, which killed more than a quarter of a million people. The experience prompted Petra to start the "Happy Hearts Fund", a charity that aims to improve the lives of children affected by natural disasters.

As the fifth anniversary of the Tsunami approaches, 'My City, My Life' gains an insight into the wonderful life of Petra Nemcova. With charm and candor she tells her story, and shares with us the secrets of her city.
