Welcome to CNN International’s first dedicated film show – The Screening Room. It’s a place where you’ll find the most important names in global movie-making – from Hollywood to Bollywood, Cannes to Iran, Africa to Australia.
On the set - on the carpet - on location – we’ll take you through the stages of film-making from production to premiere. A cast of the world’s best actors, directors, cinematographers, writers, composers and animators is on hand to show you what goes into making that 90-minute masterpiece. When they get it right, they connect to a global audience of film-fans drawn to thousands of picture houses across the world week after week.
Each month we'll scour the list of upcoming releases for three films we think will cause a stir. From Hollywood blockbusters to interesting indies and the best of world cinema, we hope you'll find something to move you.
Hosted by Myleene Klass, The Screening Room is a 30-minute monthly feature program. Each new episode premieres on the fourth Friday of each month with 2 replays on the weekend. The premiere will have several bonus replay times.
