Cannes

May means Cannes - the biggest and brightest stop on the film festival circuit. Appearing on the Croissette this year will be Steven Spielberg and George Lucas with Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett as Indiana Jones returns to the silver screen for the first time in almost two decades.

Clint Eastwood, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Angelina Jolie are among other Hollywood stars destined to walk the red carpet. Natalie Portman is on the jury, which is led by Sean Penn and the Palme d'Or will be presented by Robert De Niro.

The Screening Room's host Myleene Klass will join them in Cannes as competition for the coveted prize embraces directors from Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin America. Steven Soderbergh gives Che Guevara the feature film treatment and another South American hero, footballer Maradonna, will be the focus of a keenly-awaited documentary, with another controversial sporting figure- Mike Tyson - at the center of another doc.
