Director's Special

In December, CNN's monthly movie show "The Screening Room" puts film fans in the director's chair and invites viewers to help determine the content of the show. During its first nine months the show has interviewed an impressive list of some of the world's top directors. From Martin Scorsese to Ridley Scott, Tarantino to Polanski, Ang Lee to Spike Lee, Coppola to Cronenberg, Burton to Bertolucci, Woody Allen to Wes Anderson, Wim Wenders to Wong Kar-wei. Voters have the chance to tell us who they want to hear from and we'll include the favorites in the final cut of this month's show - The Screening Room's Director's Special.

We'll also be on set with director Anthony Mingella as he shoots Botswana's first feature film. And presenter Myleene Klass travels to Morocco to host the show from the Marrakech Film Festival, attended by Leonardo DiCaprio, double-Oscar winning director Milos Forman and the early front-runner in our director's poll - Martin Scorsese.
