Google Art (airs 24th March 2011)

In the first episode we delve into the life of the German artist Hans Holbien, who was the official royal painter to King Henry VIII. Holbein also created the famous painting 'The Ambassadors', on display in London's National Gallery. The art work is part of a project by Google Art that is scanning, in super high resolution, iconic paintings from some of the world's leading art institutions and creating a huge online gallery.
