Living Golf
SHOW #69
2008 Year Ender
Host: Justin Armsden
As we close the curtain on 2008, January's Living Golf is up and running for the New Year. We speak to one of the world's most successful golfers of the past 12 months, and sit down exclusively with the world's best female golfer of a generation.
PADRAIG HARRINGTON – 2008 CHAMPION
Irishman Padraig Harrington became the first European in eight years to win a major championship in 2007 and went one better this year, winning both the Open Championship and PGA Championship. Justin Armsden sat down with him recently to find out how he managed it, how it affected his performance at the Ryder Cup, and what his next challenge will be.
ANNIKA SORENSTAM RETIRES
Armsden will also be exclusively interviewing Annika Sorenstam as she plays her last professional event before retirement. The former world number one bows out in Dubai as the golfing world says goodbye to the best female player of a generation, and perhaps of all-time. We look back on a glittering career and the time we spent with Sorenstam in her home town in Sweden.
SCOTT’S HOT SHOTS
Our touring professional Adam Scott shows us what's in his bag, and teaches us how to choose the right clubs for your game.
LOOK AHEAD TO 2009 / MEADOWS GOLFING GIZMOS
And finally, we'll be showing you what to look out for in the New Year, some of the names hoping to make a breakthrough, and Chris Meadows reviews the newest gadgets on the market and the best ways to keep your body primed for that golf swing.
