Russia

This month, MainSail will be heading to Russia to discover the driving force behind the expanding popularity of the sport in this country. MainSail's host Shirley Robertson will take to the water with Team Russia, the country's Volvo Ocean Race entry. For the first time in the race's history, the race will visit a Russian port, St. Petersburg.

Whilst in Moscow, Shirley will also get the chance to talk to the Russian Olympic hopeful, Ekaterina Skudina.

Plus we'll be bringing you all the action from the latest single handed offshore adventure, the Artemis Transat, where solo sailors venture across the north Atlantic through storms and ice zones, as well as keeping you up to date with all the sailing news from around the globe.
