Cork Week

This month on MainSail we are in Ireland for Cork week, this country's largest international regatta. MainSail presenter Shirley Robertson joins the crew of Rambler, a 90-foot maxi yacht, to discover what it's like sailing such a huge yacht on a small course. At the other end of the scale, we talk to the SB3 sailors. This class has over 50 entries in the regatta and we find out what the attraction is to this three-man sports boat.

Plus we go sailing with the Irish Volvo Ocean Race entry, the Green Dragon Team. The last time Mainsail saw this boat it was in a construction yard in China, now she is fully up and running with a top racing team. And we catch up with the news from the six other Volvo race teams preparing for the start of this famous yacht race.
