2008 has had many memorable sailing moments - the start of the Vendee Globe, the Beijing Olympics, the Volvo Ocean Race, and this month on MainSail we'll be taking a look back over the year.

Presenter Shirley Robertson will be re-living some of her favorite MainSail moments, including her most memorable sailing trip. Plus we'll look back at some of the yachting stories that have hit the headlines during the year.

Shirley will be talking directly to some of the Vendee Globe sailors just over a month after the start of their round the world voyage. Plus we'll bring you all the exciting action from leg two of the Volvo Ocean race. All this and more, in the final MainSail of 2008.
