This month, host Shirley Robertson takes viewers behind the scenes and into the life of one of the world’s greatest sailors, a life that combines running multi-million-pound sports campaigns, selecting and leading teams, raising finance, making life and death decisions in wild ocean conditions, and endless travel. This is the world of Paul Cayard, a man who has an international sailing CV that few in the world can match. For a week in May, Cayard allowed "MainSail" into his life at events in Austria, Italy and Portugal, providing a unique insight into the man who is famous for victories on the water but whose life extends far beyond that.
