Open Court
SHOW #2
New U.S. Stars
"Open Court" continues in April by travelling to Florida in search of the new wave of U.S. tennis champions. For the past decade, Andy Roddick has been the only consistent top ten men's player from America. Tennis receives a great deal of support in the U.S. - high tech training facilities and expert coaches, but where are the champions? "Open Court," now hosted by former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash, takes viewers inside IMG/Nick Bollettieri's famed tennis academy in Florida, where he witnesses the champions of tomorrow training. We also talk to some of the biggest names in the game about the future of American tennis and recall the highlight of Pat Cash's tennis career, including his 1987 Wimbledon championship, with a look back at the match and the infamous "climb to the box," where Pat celebrated his straight-sets win with his long-time coach, family and friends.
