A revealing interview with the world's number two men's tennis player. Our team travelled to Serbia to meet Novak Djokovic in Belgrade. The 22-year-old talked candidly about what it's like to live out of a suitcase year-round, the importance of family and what it was like growing up in a war-torn country. He spoke about how tennis became part of his life at a very young age and how his family made sacrifices so that he could play. You will also hear from Novak's two younger brothers. Novak also took part in our lightning round of questions that revealed everything from what he has on his I-Pod to his favorite food.
TENNIS 101
We'll walk you through a lesson in Tennis 101. One time U.S. Open finalist Greg Rusedski explains how tennis got its start in the 13th century, where players played in monasteries and courtyards. Greg will explain how the game transformed into the high stakes global game that it is today.
THE SECRET WEAPON IN TENNIS
How you string your racquet has a profound impact on your game. The Open Court team travels to California to talk with "professional stringers." They travel the tournament circuit stringing racquets for some of the top players in the game. We'll see how they string racquets and learn why it's so important to the game. Then from the hustle and bustle of California, we travel to a small village in Austria. That's where Head's research and design team is located. The Open Court team gets a behind the scenes look at how a racquet takes shape.

The Open Court team catches up with one of the hottest players on the tour. Caroline burst on the scene last year and reached the U.S. Open final. The Danish star lost there, but earned herself a big fan following. We meet up with Caroline in California at Indian Wells. We're pleased to announce that Caroline will be part of the Open Court team. She will be providing bi-monthly video diaries and providing insight into a pro's experience on the tour. A compilation of these diaries will be showcased during "Open Court." |
